The second “We are food” festival gets underway on June 28-29, 2018 in Hamburg’s Foodboom studios. Then creative minds from the food and media sectors will share their expertise in keynotes and workshops while marketing professionals and start-ups will highlight trends and the future of the industry. Founded in 2015, Foodboom GmbH develops, produces and distributes 360 degree content from its own studios.
This year’s festival is being held under the motto “Food is lifestyle”. Experts including Michael Trautmann, Markus Wörner, Inferno Ragazzi and Peter Kabel are expected at the conference, which starts Thursday with Media Stream followed by keynotes and panel discussions about consumer and customer expectations on the future of shopping. The co-founders Sebastian Heinz and Hannes Arendholz will give opening speeches. Several master classes on influencer marketing, legal video online marketing and visual image trends will be held on Friday.
Food Innovation Camp 2018
Foodboom is also taking part in the upcoming Food Innovation Camp on July 2, 2018 in the Chamber of Commerce. The event is being hosted by Hamburg Startups in co-operation with the “Gastgewerbe-Magazin” and aims to present Hamburg as a German hotspot of the food and gastronomy scene.
The supporting programme focuses on new trends in food, food technology, logistics and the hospitality sectors during workshops for knowledge transfer between large and small companies. Rounds of speed dating and matchmaking will give start-ups and representatives of the wholesale and retail sector, investors and the catering trade an opportunity to network with each other.
