Forward looking companies with sound business and production methods and sustainable solutions for the out-of-home market can now enter the 9th INTERNORGA Future Award in 2019. Entries can be submitted directly and as nominations on https://www.internorga.com/en/programme/awards/future-award/ until January 25, 2019. Internorga is the leading European trade fair for hotels, restaurants, bakery and confectionery. It has more than 1,300 exhibitors from Germany and abroad and regularly attracts over 95,000 trade visitors.
Companies can either enter themselves or be nominated for the prize in the “Trendsetter Companies – Gastronomy & Hotel Sector”. The award honours companies from the hospitality, restaurant, catering and canteen sectors that combine entrepreneurial business with sustainable activity, thus setting trends for tomorrow.
Digital solutions and new impulses
The other two categories are open only to exhibitors at Internorga. The “Trendsetter Product – Food & Drink” award is presented for an innovative product using healthy, sustainable raw materials, high quality of processing and flavour or by fair production conditions and recycling. The award goes to smart solutions for the food and catering market, with excellent performance in terms of efficiency and economy, in the use of energy and materials, in long product life, and in providing capabilities for updating and repairing. The “Trendsetter Product – Technology & Equipment” award is presented for smart solutions in the food and catering market. Both categories include digital solutions that optimise work processes and applications, and move in new directions. The awards will be presented in each category on March 14, 2019 at a festive opening gala on the eve of the Internorga in Hamburg.
