With INTERNORGA 2015 being the biggest in the fair’s 94 year history, trends and innovations bring not only alive the exhibition halls, but also its forecourt, with the INTERNORGA Food Truck Village set up 13-16 March. Each day, five food trucks will showcase their mobile canteen concepts and invite to meet specialists at the daily “Trucker’s Talk”, where they will allow insights into the new gastro trend and answer any questions. The menu offer by the trucks ranges from Polish delicacies on organic burgers, burritos, Banh Mi’s, seasonal soups creations, stone oven pizza, America-style Pastrami and meat sandwiches to modern home cooking and vegan fast food. All food can be tried for little money. The INTERNORGA Food Truck Village is organised by the team of the “Lunch Caravan”.
Food “To Go” Is The Trend
“Society is becoming increasingly mobile, and food is no longer consumed by a family or group of workers or friends sitting around a table, but quickly on the move.” Street Food “ is the new culinary trend. However, demands in regard to quality particularly high. This trend, observed by our exhibitors for years, is now being reflected by our Food Truck Village at the forecourt of INTERNORGA. We are excited about the partnership with the “Lunch Caravan” and look forward to experience the new trendy concepts”, says Claudia Johannsen, executive director at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.
“The Food Truck Village at INTERNORGA is an exciting first for us! (…) Food trucks are a fast growing trend that can be observed throughout Germany – so where we could present our Food Truck Village better than at the leading trend platform for the food service and catering market, INTERNORGA”, says Jochen Manske, inventor and organiser of the lunch caravan.
