96th German Congress on Radiology focuses on "Technology for Man"

New treatments and technology innovations will be presented 13-16 May 2015 in Hamburg. More than 7,000 trade visitors expected to attend the congress

At this year’s 96th German Congress of Radiology innovations in research and technology equipment are key issues. Under the motto “Technology for Man”, the conference held 13-16 May 2015 at the Congress Center Hamburg is directed at radiologists and specialists, medical-technical assistants and medical students.

English Sessions

The team led by Prof. Gerhard Adam (UKE University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf) and the German Society of Radiology (DRG) will, a premiere, also include English sessions in addition to the German programme to help international and national medical professionals to meet in Hamburg.

Important Role of Technology

The DRG organises a programme with topics about to nanotechnology, 3D printing in medicine, and Big Data. “Without innovations in medical technology, the highly technica radiology would not have become such a highly developed discipline. We therefore emphasise the important role of technology in radiology in this year”, explains Prof. Adam, president of this year’s congress. The training of young specialists radiology is thus also a key objective of the conference.
