All kinds of delicacies will be on sale and cultural events taking place from the Landungsbrücken via the Jan Fedder Promenade to the Elbphilharmonie on Saturday (September 9, 2023).

Festival showcases cruise ships

"The Hamburg Cruise Days and Blue Port Hamburg will create a unique atmosphere in the port," said Michael Otremba, Managing Director of Hamburg Tourismus GmbH, which issues the licence. "Guests and residents of Hamburg can experience the special fascination of sea travel and cruising as up close as is only possible in Hamburg." Ocean cruisers, luxury liners, expedition ships and river cruisers will be on display in the port. Apart from the main partner Aida Cruises, ships by Tui Cruises, Nicko Cruises and Phoenix Reisen will be among the guests in Hamburg.

Highlights

Five cruise ships will parade along the Elbe River on Saturday evening to music and presented by actor Marek Erhardt. On Sunday, two Aida ships will leave the port and visitors can board river cruise ships to tour the harbour. The Blue Port Hamburg show will be staged by light artist Michael Batz.
