Focus on self-employment during live chats, talks and panel discussions

The Hamburg Founders' Day is going digital from May 3 to 7, 2021. Founders, startups, fledgling companies and potential entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to focus on self-employment. The free event features live chats, keynote speeches, founders' talks and podcasts. Registrations are now being accepted on the website. Organised by the Hamburg Start-up Initiative (hei.), the first digital Founders Day was held in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Convincing digital event

"The great demand and positive response to our first event last year has encouraged us to hold the Hamburg Founders' Day as a digital information event again. Thanks to the start-up network and our strong partners, we have succeeded in putting together an even more extensive programme and can react flexibly to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the associated restrictions," said Claudia-Marie Dittrich, head of hei.

Advice on starting-up and talks with women founders

This year's event features live video chats during which experts will answer questions on business plans, financing, recommendation marketing, sideline startups, brand building for founders and give advice on tax and accounting. The event will also provide information on online marketing, starting up in the gastronomy sector, how women start up, choosing the right legal form and SEO. The agenda is completed by talks with three successful founders, who will provide insights into their everyday lives and the hei.podcast.
