The Fintech Week 2021 #fwhh21 gets underway Monday (November 22) in Hamburg with over 20 events for bankers, fintech founders, investors and innovation managers. Events will be held at Campus 75 in downtown Hamburg and under 2G conditions meaning only the fully-vaccinated or those who have recovered from COVID-19 can attend.

From blockchain, ESG criteria to New Work

Blockchain technology will take centre stage on day one. The Hanseatic Blockchain Institute will outline how blockchain is being adapted in the banking sector followed by an event on the "Future of the Euro" in the evening. Sustainable finance/ESG as well as remote work with a deep dive by the Fintech Ladies will top the agenda on Wednesday. The parallel Fintech Hamburg Meetup will take place under the theme of "Fintech for Future". Fintech Week ends on Friday with a panel on New Work. Visitors can compile their own individual list of events, according to the organizers Finletter and Fintech Week GmbH.

Live podcasts, workshops and networking

Apart from live podcasts, panel discussions, workshops and expert presentations, delegates will have plenty of networking opportunities. The business law firm, Fieldfisher, FinanzplatzHamburg and Hamburg Invest will host an International Day Networking on Thursday evening (November 25). The event targets participants of previous events "Next in Fintech - A Fintech Pitch Event", "Sharing expertise - how to enter the German market" and "New Vertical Banking and Embedded Finance".
