Global wind energy meet to go ahead in December

Hamburg Messe und Congress and WindEurope have agreed to postpone WindEnergy 2020 from September 22-25 to December 1-4,2020 amid the ongoing corona crisis. More than 1,400 exhibitors from 100 nations are expected at the leading global energy fair.

New health protection concept

The postponement will allow organisers to improve security, hygiene and safety standards and to protect all visitors. "WindEnergy Hamburg will include new, digital offers in addition to the usual high standards,. Part of the conferences and the exhibition will be digital or unfold in hybrid events. This will allow us to break entirely new ground during this crisis. We look forward to welcoming the wind industry to Hamburg in December," said Bernd Aufderheide, Chairman of the Board of Management of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.
