Spanish budget airline Level will begin operating flights from Hamburg Airport to Vienna from March 31, 2019. The airline is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG) and will operate a 180-seat A320 aircraft on the new route six times per week (Monday to Friday and Sunday).
Tickets now available
“The connection with Level will significantly increase the number of seats available to Vienna,” said Dr. Jörgen Kearsley, Head of Aviation Marketing at Hamburg Airport. “This gives our passengers an even wider choice of flights to the famous city of Mozart – both for city trips and business trips”.
More capacity on Istanbul route
Turkish Airlines is also expanding its commitment to Hamburg Airport. The airline has been using the larger Airbus A330 with up to 289 seats on its route to Istanbul six days a week since early 2019. So far, mostly Airbus A321s have been operated on the route. Four daily flights to Istanbul are scheduled for the 2019 summer timetable.
