Hamburg to host "Supply Chain Excellence" forum

Registration now underway for forum with industry experts and associations

Hamburg will become the centre of the German aerospace industry when it hosts the 13th Day of German Aerospace Regions on September 18, 2018 followed by the 5th “Supply Chain Excellence” (SCE) forum on September 19, 2018. The SCE supports companies in the aviation supply industry with structural change to raise global competitiveness in Germany.

Solutions to present challenges

The aerospace industry has undergone considerable change since the last forum in March 2017. Consolidation among the “big players” continues on an international level while SMEs face several mega trends such as globalised supply chains, constantly increasing cost pressure and the demands of digitalisation. SCE addresses all these areas and has significantly expanded the range of services offered in its six sections. This has already yielded visible, initial success.

Information and inspiration

SCE invites participants to the 5th SCE forum to hear both the views of suppliers and to view positive examples from SMEs. Several sections at SME offer plenty of ideas for new projects and funding. Registrations for the forum are being accepted until September 12, 2018.
