Hamburg will host the second annual CAPA Low Cost Long Haul Global Summit from October 10-11, 2019 at the Grand Elysée Hotel. The conference is the world’s only meeting of international representatives from the entire aviation industry to discuss the potential and developments of long-haul flights in the low-cost segment.
“We are delighted and proud that Hamburg will host the CAPA Low Cost Long Haul Global Summit in October 2019,” said Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO of Hamburg Airport, adding, “The low-cost long-haul segment is an exciting topic that holds a great deal of potential.” Around 250 experts are expected for talks on trends and strategies for the future. The conference provides insights into global markets and offers participants an opportunity to network at the highest level.
Hamburg Airport’s potential for low-cost long-haul
Novel aircraft technologies and passengers’ changing demands have led to more and more low-cost airlines entering the long-haul market. Hamburg Airport holds great potential for new low-cost, long-haul routes to Canada, the United States or Asia. The airport is already in talks with airline partners about these routes. The Hamburg Convention Bureau and Hamburg Airport went to joint efforts to bring the 2019 conference to the city.
