More than 70 guests of the Pinneberg banking institute from politics, industry and the construction companies attended the traditional topping-out ceremony on 26 November. All construction is right on schedule.
Appreciation of Pinneberg’s Centre
Dr. Horst Alsmöller welcomed the guests at the topping-out ceremony together with his fellow board members Uwe Augustin and Stefan Witt. They thanked all parties involved in the construction, and particularly Pinneberg’s Mayor Urte Steinberg for the great support of the construction project. Alsmöller once again underlined that the new building not only sends out a signal of appreciation of Pinneberg’s centre, but reaches far beyond, namely as as landmarks of Pinneberg as county seat.
Opening in Early Summer 2016
In the early summer of 2016, first tenants will be moving in on the ground floor of the new building. Already nearly fully let, the tenants will make shopping in Pinneberg even more attractive. Also, the areas around the building will be upgraded. Between the commercial premises and businesses, benches and pedestals have been set up to invite strollers to sit under the trees. For pedestrians, plenty of space and freedom of movement will be provided.
In the parking garage currently being constructed next to the office and commercial building, the number of parking spaces provided will be doubled from 100 to around 200 slots. Completion is scheduled for mid-2016.
