With the intention to raise awareness of the importance of first aid skills Hansaplast created the employee activation ‘Bringing First Aid Home’ in 2014. With local activation activities, Hansaplast wants to improve quality of life within families all around the world by giving them one of the simplest things: first aid knowledge. That is why Beiersdorf Indonesia decided to hold an internal first aid course in its production center in Malang. Presented by a certified first-aider, 25 students of the local elementary school learned what to do best in an emergency.
Hansaplast has been taking care of people’s everyday scrapes and injuries since 1922. Providing care and taking care has been important brand values for the company from the very beginning and they are still part of the corporate culture today. Beiersdorf Indonesia demonstrated this by celebrating the one billionth plaster strips with its first aid course for an elementary school class.
