The Faszination Technik Klub and many of its partners are holding a technology night on January 15, 2016. From 5 pm to 10 pm, the floor of the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg will literally become a market place where companies and higher educational institutions will present laboratories for experimenting and stands inviting people to join in.
Visitors can e.g. test their flying skills on a mobile aircraft cockpit. Experiments can be tried at the stands of HAW Hamburg, the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg and HafenCity University in co-operation with the Landesbetrieb Vermessung (State Survey Authority), the Helmut Schmidt University and Hamburg Airport. Hamburg Aviation and Heinkel Engineering will also demonstrate a 3D printer at their joint stand and give people an opportunity to see it in action. The Faszination Technik Klub also informs visitors about events planned for 2016.
Immediate registration now possible
Visitors can also look over apprentices’ shoulders or try their hand in the training workshop. Apprentices and students will also offer information about trainee opportunities and courses of study. Six free consecutive lectures and workshops will be held from 5:30 pm on topics such as “James Bond and Material Engineering”. Registration begins immediately on www.faszination-fuer-technik.de. The Faszination Technik Klub is funded by the Ministry for Economics, Traffic and Innovation.
