In line with the motto “Hamburg on tour”, Hamburg and its metropolitan region are promoting its unique assets and atmosphere in selected cities abroad. Following last year’s premieres in the Austrian capital of Vienna, Hamburg will now be paying a visit to its Danish neighbours in Copenhagen. For two days, the visit will not only be highlighting the things the two port cities may have in common, but also its exciting differences.
Hamburg Sailors in Copenhagen’s City Centre
The cosmopolitan city on the Elbe river will be accompanied by a hand-picked team of ambassadors who are as open-minded and likeable as the city itself: for two whole days, 25 life-sized, hand-painted figures of sailors will be representing Hamburg in the city centre of Copenhagen, pointing the way to the many events taking place in various locations throughout Copenhagen.
The events are being organised by Hamburg’s partners from culture, music and the arts who will be presenting attractive highlights from Germany’s second city, revealing Hamburg as a pulsating metropolis, a waterfront city with nordic flair, and a hotspot of culture in all its many forms.
Hamburg – An Attractive City For Young Professionals and Families
The event aims at enhancing Hamburg’s attractiveness, particularly to ambitious young professionals and families from Copenhagen and across Denmark. To achieve this, the Hamburg Convention Bureau teamed up with two Hamburg agencies, i.e. agency red roses communications and the unit together bwp the Bergmann Group.
Hamburg’s Vibrant Culture at Close
“Hamburg on Tour” will take place at different locations: In addition to the Kongens Nytor as prime event centre, hip clubs and venues have been contracted for showcases of “Hamburg on tour”.
