Which are the best ways to store renewable energies locally and regionally? This is the central question of the “Energy Café” hosted on 23 September on storage technology in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region by the Renewables Hamburg cluster. The event is part of the Energy Forum 2015 a the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
Titled “Driving the Energy Transition in North Germany”, representatives from business, academia, administration, and the general public will be discussing the current state of the energy transition. Jens Kerstan, Hamburg Minister for Environment and Energy, will be holding the opening address.
The Energy Transition in Focus
The themes of the fourth edition of the Energy Forum go far beyond the generation of green power. On the agenda are also e-mobility, storage technologies. At round tables, workshops, and talk, participants will be able to gain insight in research, share and exchange their experiences with other participants, look for new co-operation partner, and find new way for a sustainable energy supply with the help of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
