During the summer camp “ship”, teenagers aged 14 and older will be to gain hands-on insights on maritime safety, strength analysis, and shape optimisation of ships in seminars at the University of Technology and the DLR_School_Lab in the first three days. The remaining two days of the camp will feature visits to Blohm + Voss Shipyards GmbH and the Hamburg Ship Model Basin GmbH, where they will be able to discover how ships are being built and tested. Friday afternoon will focus on training and study opportunities.
