Attractive Cruise Destination

Christian Martin Lukas, CEO of Lübeck and Travemünde Marketing GmbH, comments: “We are sure that Travemuende as a new member will significantly contribute to enhance the attractiveness of the Baltic Sea as a destination for a cruise. In return, we are happy about the benefits of our Cruise Baltic membership, which, for instance, allows us to have direct contacts with cruise line route planners, and to exchange knowledge with other partners in the Baltic region. We are the ideal destination for small and medium-sized cruise ships. Our focus remains the acquisition of ships of up to 200 metres in length due to the existing infrastructure of berths. However, we will also continue to win even larger ships for the Skandinavienkai.”

Claus Bødker, director of “Cruise Baltic”, explains: “We are proud to welcome such an attractive destination as Lübeck-Travemünde in our network, and I am confident that this new partnership will become very beneficial for both sides.”
