The Authority for Sciences, Research and Equality is providing EUR 17 million in funding for top research projects at Hamburg’s universities. Scientists at the University of Hamburg, the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW), the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH), HafenCity University and the University Clinics of Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) had submitted the projects for funding. At the centre of the projects are current issues and challenges facing society in the 21st century such as new kinds of learning and urban living standards.
