the Hamburg Tourism Board reported new records at its annual press conference and said that the Hanseatic city established as one of Europe’s most popular destinations. In 2014, overnight stays climbed by 3.5 per cent to more than twelve million nights. The average occupancy rate improved to 78.9 per cent last year. In 2015, the Hamburg Tourism Board expects another increase of overnight stays by five per cent.
