Xing to Honour Innovative Working Concepts

New Work Award granted for the second time. Hamburgers companies in the final round. Online voting until 15 January 2015

The world of work is changing, with salaries determined by the team, and retirees sharing their experience with young workers, and old forms of management abolished by new forms of leadership. Initiatives like these are being honoured by the New Work Award, granted by the online business network Xing and the magazines Focus and Human Resources Manager. Among the finalists are also Hamburg-based companies. The winners will now be determined by an online voting open until 15 January 2015.

Second New Work Award

The New Work Award will be granted in January for the second time and honour innovative approaches reflecting the “revolution in the world of work”. The most promising concepts for the working world of tomorrow have already been evaluated and selected by a seven-member jury of experts from society, industry, and research. The panel included, inter alia, Thomas Sattelberger, former Chief Human Resources Officer of Deutsche Telekom, and Thomas Vollmoeller, CEO of XING AG.

Online Voting Decides On Innovative Concepts

Until 15 January 2015, the community is invited to decide and vote on the concepts of the 18 finalists, with candidates competing in two categories. in the large company category, the Hamburg-based games producer Goodgame Studios is hoping for laurels. In the SME and start-up category, the coworking space betahaus Hamburg, the communications agency Ministry,the oose informative computer science eG, and elbdudler GmbH are competing. The award will be granted on 26 January in Berlin.
