Promising start-ups can avail of free professional coaching in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt during the Silicon Pauli Patrons Programme (SPPP) on November 2-3, 2017. Then experts in the creative scene and entrepreneurs will help six ambitious founders to develop their products. Nicolas Kittner, a product designer who had earlier failed to turn around an idea for his start-up, initiated the event and probably has “the best prerequisites for telling others how to do it properly”. Eight other patrons i.e. experts in prototyping, communication and branding will be on hand to mentor the founders.
From prototyping to customer journey
“Collaborations between agencies and start-ups can lead to new types of companies – more or less the best of both worlds,” said Kittner. The programme starts with an analysis of each start-up, an outline of their business strengths and weaknesses as well as “to dos” for the next day. Workshops such as “Production communication on a low budget” and “Prototyping for digital products” will be held on November 3.
Founder of About You among speakers
Experienced founders such as Tarek Müller of About You and Samia Haimoura, founder of the Securella security app, will give keynotes in the Wasserschloss and the Alte Zollamt in Speicherstadt. Interested start-ups in the German-language region can submit their applications by mid September on the event page. The event is open to existing start-ups in the digital industry or those in the early stages of business. The company should have at least one prototype to work with during the programme.
