InnoGames claims to be one of the most successful start-ups of the games industry in Europe. Founded in 2007, the InnoGames GmbH today employs 350 people from 30 nations at its Hamburg headquarters. The three founders Hendrik and Eike Klindworth and Michael Zillmer know well from personal experience the chances and risks founding a company. This wealth of experience they now want to pass on to future start-ups.
Help for Business Start-Ups
To this end, a co-working space has been set up on the second floor of InnoGames offices, which offers to new entrepreneurs in Hamburg both individual workstations and offices. In addition, tenants are being supported by a mentoring programme, with industry experts helping resident business start-up under the motto “From entrepreneurs For Entrepreneurs”. The offices are all fully equipped and allow to start off immediately, with additional coaching by mentors and IT support by administrators and “caretakers” being offered. Likewise, tenants are able to benefit from synergies and make contacts with partners from industry and the city of Hamburg or potential investors.
Not Another Business Division
InnoGames sees InnoHub not as an additional business division, but as support offer for start-ups, young enterprises and creative entrepreneurs in business helping them to develop their business and to grow. The mentors of InnoHub form a network of industry experts, consultants and investors. In addition to brief presentations, mentors can be booked for individual coaching at InnoHub. Even so-called pitch trainings are being available, allowing founders to simulate and train for pitches. This offer is free of charge for all tenants interested in pitching.
