The ninth scoopcamp gets underway on September 28, 2017 in Hamburg’s Kehrwieder Theatre under the theme of “new storytelling”. scoopcamp is organised jointly by nextMedia.Hamburg and Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa). Around 250 journalists and keynote speakers will discuss the latest trends and issues at the interface between editing, programming and product development. The opening session will be followed by workshops on the latest media trends.
Digital transformation of media
The annual scoopcamp focuses on data journalism, investigative reporting, immersive storytelling, social media and product innovations in digital media. “Journalism today is in the middle of digital transformation. At scoopcamp, we will present pioneering international examples that show what’s possible when journalistic and technological skills come together,” said Meinolf Ellers, co-initiator and Chief Digital Officer at dpa.
