Klambt media group to invest in Vinoa

Hamburg-based Tales of Taste start-up gets six digit cash injection to expand vinoa.de search engine

Klambt media group, the Nordmann Group and their partner, Kristof Nordman, are investing a six-digit sum in the vinoa.de search engine, Tales of Taste UG, the company behind the search engine, announced July 5th. The investment will allow the comparison of 60,000 products from over 70 online shops on www.vinoa.de..

App launch planned

In June, vinoa.de completed a round of seed financing and that capital will be invested in the platform’s technological development, reaching new target groups and expanding the team. The start-up plans to launch an app for personal wine recommendations later this year.

More than 1,000 online wine shops

Helge Morgenstern and Daniel Schmerbauch launched Tales of Taste UG last November and they are being advised by Ina Finn, a Hamburg-based sommelier. Morgenstern said: “Germany has over 1,000 online shops for wine. Customers soon find that they cannot overview where products are or which shops offer a reliable service. Food is a sensitive issue. Vinoa helps customers with their purchases by finding reliable online shops.”
