gamecity:Hamburg relaunching webpage

Hamburg's games industry aiming for more visibility at Gamescom 2017

The new gamecity:Hamburg webpage launched Friday (August 11, 2017) in time for the leading, upcoming Gamescom 2017 in Cologne. The relaunched web page has clear information about networks and events in the games industry across Hamburg. Some 200 local companies can be found in the company guide using a filter. A free entry is also on offer and updated regularly by gamecity:Hamburg. Companies can give more details of their operations as part of the premium entry.

Tips about companies and events

The event section has tips about the “Hamburger Indietreff”, meet-ups and special events. A news section gives an overview of the latest developments in the industry in a mix of articles in both English and German. Oliver Redelfs, spokesperson for gamecity:Hamburg, said: “Our clear, modern website aims to give readers improved information about local companies and raise their visibility. At the same time, we have created the event section as a central point of information about all the game events in Hamburg.”

Joint stand at Gamescom

The Hamburg games industry will host a joint stand including gamecity:Hamburg, InnoGames, Gamigo, MIT, IME Institute, gamespipe, Playa Games, Rockfish Games and Taylor Wessing at the Gamescom from August 22-26, 2017 in Cologne.
