The fourth edition of the Summer School for start-ups get underway from September 24-29, 2017 in co-operation with HafenCity University (HCU), the Hamburg Media School (HMS), the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) and the University of Hamburg in TUHH’s Startup Dock. Interdisciplinary teams will develop business models during the five-day event. The agenda includes moderated workshops, discussions as well as group work backed by a speaker and consultant at the Startup Dock. The teams will present their ideas and business models to a jury.
Developing business models
The event is open to M.A. students all over the Hamburg Metropolitan Region and start-ups that are keen on entrepreneurship. Business ideas are welcome, but are not prerequisites. The school aims to teach participants the fundamentals of founding a company e.g. how to develop a scalable business model, to phrase hypotheses or to build a prototype. A fee of EUR 89 for food and drinks is payable. Applicants have until August 31, 2017 to register.
