Fintech Week Hamburg enters next round

Around 2,500 participants expected at bigger event - registration phase now underway

The second Fintech Week Hamburg (#fwhh17) gets underway from November 6-12, 2017 with 2,500 delegates from banks, insurers and digital economy companies expected. Around 20 of 40 scheduled events have been announced including the “comdirect Finanzbarcamp” and Europe’s first “Start-up Weekend Fintech”. The week of events is being hosted by finletter and betahaus Hamburg and is sponsored by comdirect bank. The registration phase began on July 18, 2017 on www.fintechweek.de.

Robo advisors, digital processes and communication

The agenda places special emphasis on robo advisors, digital processes in financial firms and communication challenges facing fintech companies and the regulatory initiative PSD2, collaboration between teams in fintechs and banks and the future of investment.

LaborX and Fuckup Night

Euroforum and the Frankfurt School of Finance will also hold events during #fwhh17 along with experimental events such as the LaborX for start-ups, the “Fuckup Night Fintech” and WTF/FTW discussion. Highlights include the comdirect “Finanzblogger Award 2017” and presentations of award-winning journalism in the sector. Delegates will have an opportunity to network during the beta breakfast, 12minOnTour, Fintech Exchange Night held by Accenture, in the Fintech Lounge and at the Bots Hamburg Meetup.
