After Oberhafen as upcoming creative neighbourhood of ADC’s last festival in Hamburg, the advertisers have now chosen the vibrant district of St Pauli for their festival in May. 14,000 visitors are expected to attend the meeting at Millerntor Stadium and venues in the vicinity.

Short for Art Directors Club, the ADC represents the German pulse of innovative design, media and communication. Each year, the ADC Festival attracts the crème de la crème in creativity with a high-profile competition, installations, exhibitions and a creativity congres, packed with talks by famous industry head. This year, Insights will be delivered by international speakers such as Colleen DeCourcy (Global Executive Creative Director, Wieden + Kennedy), Rob Newlan (Head of EMEA, Facebook Creative Shop), Philipp Schröder (Country Director Germany and Austria, Tesla Motors), or Kaoru Sugano (Creative Director/Creative Technologist, Dentsu Inc.).
World’s Largest Show Of Creative Communication
Central venue for the largest meeting of the creative industries in the D-A-CH market will be Millerntor Stadium. At the home stadium of the legendary soccer club FC St Pauli, all works submitted to the ADC annual will be showcased 21-23 May 2015. The work show of of creative communication, according to ADC the world’s, will display entries from the digital media, advertising, newspaper and magazine design, and communication within a spac. In recent years, it has attracted thousands of visitors. The deadline for entries has been extended to Thursday, 19 February. Agencies, companies and freelancers in the creative industry is needing more time can even submit their work until 26 February when paying a late delivery fee of 100 euro.
Grand Prix For The Winner
The ADC competition showcases the best work of creative communication from the German-speaking countries. About 360 judges will evaluate the projects. The awards will be granted in bronze, silver and gold. The most outstanding work will be honoured with the Grand Prix.
Congress On “Creating the Digital Hype”
The ADC Festival consists of several modules. On 21 May 2015, the ADC congress will focus on “Creating the Digital Hype”. ADC President Stephan Vogel: “From car manufacturer to publishing house or FMCG – all want to the Youtube hit clicked by millions, or have crowd puller content on their website. Volvo’s Epic Split, Edeka’s “Supergeil”, Dove Real Beauty Sketches, and Hornbach’s hammer are pioneers of a new era of communications, in which there is only one effective weapon: creativity.”
