Firms in Hamburg can learn more about occupational health management for employees during the 13th Health Day in the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday (March 29, 2017). The health of employees is crucial for many firms especially against the backdrop of demographic change and a lack of skilled experts. Several keynotes and workshops will be held on occupational health management. A fair will also be held in Börsensaal 92 where exhibitors will provide information about ergonomic workplace design, exercise at work and boosting physical health. Babak Rafati, a former football referee, will give a keynote on burnout.
E-health – business initiation trip to U.S.
Exhibitors can also take part in a business initiation trip to the United States from July 9-14, 2017 to facilitate contact between SMEs in the e-health sector and American business partners. The U.S. is the world’s biggest health industry and for information and communication technology coupled with a growing market for digitalisation. The trip is part of a market accessing strategy by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The agenda includes a German-American e-health conference, which will be held jointly with the AHK Philadelphia and the Digital Health Accelerator in the Science Center Philadelphia. Firms can also meet individual U.S. companies for talks and obtain advice on how to work the market. Those interested have until March 31, 2017 to register, according to the Life Science Nord cluster agency. pb
