Spain becomes partner of Reisen Hamburg 2017

Travel photography becoming new theme - Bavaria to be first-ever German partner region

Some 900 exhibitors from all over the world will present their offers for the upcoming season at Reisen Hamburg from February 8-12, 2017. On offer are trips to exotic destinations, leisure trips in north Germany, cruises on the high seas, bike tours and caravanning offers. Spain is the partner of the travel fair, which will also focus on travel photography for the first time next year.

Booking during the fair

Spain is the second most popular holiday destination after Germany. And Spaniards are keen to show that their country has far more to offer than its already popular islands and pristine beaches. The main Spanish show will be in Hall 5 where tourist experts will offer tips for their sunny country.

Visitors can also get information about many other destinations in Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Australia from large travel agents or specialised tour operators. National tourism centres, hotels and airline representatives will also be on hand to take bookings during the fair. Bavaria is to become the first-ever German partner region at the fair. Diverse exhibitors will be recommending Allgäu, Chiemsee, the Bavarian Forest and the Franconia Lake District and mountain air. Many other German regions and cities will be presenting their latest offers for short breaks and relaxing holidays as well.

Greater emphasis on e-bikes

Workshops focusing on travel photography will also be offered during the fair. Participants can learn landscape photography and how to take better pictures of people and experiences. Visitors can also test cameras and go hunting for motives e.g. on safari as special trips for amateur photographers are also being offered. Reisen Hamburg also has a growing number of cruise and caravanning offers and more emphasis will be placed on bikes especially e-bikes for everyday use and on holidays.
