The 2015 conference has the objective of establishing a journey of exploration, starting from current leading edge experiences and moving to actual pilots and implementations of the City 2020. As usual, it will be hosting distinguished speakers from European cities alongside worldwide experts from ICT providers and academia during the meeting hosted by the organisation’s IT User Group in the Port of Hamburg. The conference language is English.
Local Policies of the Future
Main target of the Major Cities of Europe Conference 2015 is to initiate innovations to shape the city of 2020. Following a panel meeting, the programme includes numerous topics of interest for CIOs, city managers and policy makers that drive and manage innovation in their cities such as: rethinking e-government, governance of smart cities, new Technologies, robots, drones, and IOT, openness and transparency and the role of Social Media, and learning: the school 2020.
Future City Campus
The Major Cities of Europe Conference invites participants to learn from experts, to discuss, to expand networks and to share ideas.
