INTERNORGA: 90 Years of Innovation

Leading European trade fair for the out-of-home and catering market to celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2016

New every year, innovative, and always ahead of trends. That is the standard set by INTERNORGA, making it what it is today – an incubator and innovation pool, and the most important meeting point for the whole of the HORECA market. 2016 will be a very special year, with the leading international trade fair celebrating its 90th anniversary from 11 to 16 March.

From Regional Fair to Europe’s leading Marketplace

Following the biggest-ever INTERNORGA ini 2015, the success story will continue in 2016. Once again, Hamburg will be the INTERNORGA city for six days, and visitors can look forward to a whole bunch of highlights on and around the fair grounds. The accompanying conferences will feature highly acclaimed international experts, discussing the latest and hottest topics, and generating new ideas in the industry.

“INTERNORGA’s recipe for success is to continuously re-invent itself, and to developing new formats together with the industries,” says Claudia Johannsen, Business Unit Director at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH (HMC). “This leading trade show has been giving comprehensive insights into the market and presenting trends and innovations since 1921. We have always come up with new formats at the right time, creating the decisive added value for exhibitors and visitors. Thereby INTERNORGA developed from being a regional hotel and restaurant fair to Europe’s most important meeting point for the HORECA industries. And of course our primary objective remains to continue living up to this high standard.

Trendsetter by Tradition

INTERNORGA has always been the essential meeting point for the whole of the out-of-home market, and a platform for product innovations and exclusive premieres. For example it hosted the very first industry presentation of wraps, and of smoothies, launching them on their triumphant road to market success. “INTERNORGA always has its finger on the pulse of the times, growing bigger and stronger year by year,” adds Claudia Johannsen. “It is the birthplace of trends – always has been, and always will be, for at least the next 90 years. We look forward with eager anticipation to INTERNORGA 2016 and all the new presentations and fresh market ideas.”

Boutique Beers to Return in Focus in 2016

INTERNORGA 2016 will be a very special event, including the most popular exhibition formats of the past years and also some exciting surprises and new activities. The CRAFT BEER Arena will be back again following its successful premiere in 2015, presenting the rediscovered diversity of beer.
