470 Exhibitors From 15 Countries
More than 470 exhibitors from 15 countries will showcase their products and services in seven halls – fashionable riding clothes, new saddles and matching bridles. The extensive exhibition space on equestrian accessories will be complemented by a large area focussing on equine health and feeding, horse riding vacations, horse transportation, and the training of horses and riders. Crowd-pullers will surely be the Iceland village along with the Western and Horsemanship area.
A HansePferd Premiere: the Extreme Trail Parcours
A new offer at HansePferd 2016 will be the “Extreme Trail Parcours”. The training idea is to return to the horse freedom and personal decision, and thus to enable the animal to confidently overcome obstacles centered at its own quiet pace. During the fair, the EETA shows by the 1st European extreme Trail Association illustrate the concept. Using natural or nature-like obstacles, the discipline is open to all races and riding styles.
Ponies and Horses from more than 35 Races
300 horses and ponies from more than 35 races can be experienced at close at numerous shows in the halls: Holsteiner, Hanoverian, Trakehner, noble Lusitanos, fiery Arabs, proud Pura Raza Espanola, Icelanders and many other popular horses. Trainers present at the shows will be more than willing to give you tips for dealing with horses.
Fair guests: Alizée Froment, Michael Geitner, Philippe Karl, and Wolfgang Marlie
Each day, the programme of the horse fair includes more than 100 demonstrations and lectures. In 2016, the focal theme will be the training of horse and rider. For the first time, Alizée Froment will attend HansePferd Hamburg with her horses and daily demonstrate her training methods. Another horse expert presented at the fair for the very first time will be the horse trainer Michael Geitner. The French Philippe Karl and Wolfgang Marlie have also confirmed their attendance along with numerous other coaches and trainers.
Gala Show & Family Programme
Also for families and children, there will be a lot to see and experience, including a Little Kids ranch in the western town of Golden Valley, where small visitors will be able to swing the lasso and throw horseshoes. In the evening, the new “Dreams” gala show will enchant young and old. Overwhelming horsemanship, coupled with impressive show acts and acrobatics will make the visit a memorable experience. International top stars, national champion of horsemanship and regional favorites will contribute to the special charm of the horse gala, held each at 19.30 clock at HansePferd’s big show hall.
