Gruner + Jahr’s magazine, Brigitte, is hosting a jobs symposium under the theme “Women and Professions: Start – get ahead – change” on May 18 in Hamburg, following the great response to the first such event in Berlin last year, a press release said Tuesday. The event offers support to women and encourages them to be more demanding. The symposium will be held in View Eleven on Altonaer Fischmarkt with the support of sponsor Olaf Scholz, Mayor of Hamburg.
Ready for changes in digital working world
The event targets women who wish to boost their personal skills, seek new challenges at work, those returning to work after a break and women who wish to start a business or prepare for changes in the digital era. The agenda includes lectures, discussions, and workshops for around 250 delegates. Those interested can register at a cost of EUR 199 and magazine subscribers pay EUR 150 on: www.brigitte.de/symposium.

Delegates can meet start-ups, and experts, make contacts and gain ideas as well as advice. Brigitte Huber, Editor-in-Chief of Brigitte, will moderate the panel discussion with Ildikó von Kürthy, author, Christiane Funken, professor of sociology and author, and Amber Riedl, founder of Makerist GmbH.
