Applications for the 8th Internorga “future prize” can be submitted until January 15, 2018, a press release said Thursday. Next year’s prize will be presented in four categories for innovation and sustainability during the leading fair for the hotel and catering sector from March 9-13, 2018.
The prize, an important national and international award in the out-of-house market, is presented for forward-looking products, technologies and strategies. Companies can submit entries in two of four categories or be nominated. The award in the category ”Trendsetter Company – Handcraft” goes to bakeries, confectioneries or butchers using traditional production procedures in combination with sustainable commercial ideas and technologies.
Prizes for companies and their products
Two other categories including “Trendsetter Product – Food and Drinks” are open only to exhibitors at Internorga. The prize goes to an innovative healthy product that uses biological raw materials, has undergone top quality processing or been produced in fair conditions. The award in the “Trendsetter Product – Technology & Equipment” category goes to intelligent solutions that use energy and materials efficiently and sparingly or that have a long-life. This category includes technical novelties that improve work processes and set new standards.
