On Thursday, 2 July 2015, the 10th European Procurement Excellence (EPE), will be held ini Hamburg. 230 Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) are expected to attend the conference of the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) in Hamburg, held with the slogan “Transforming Procurement into a powerhouse” at the Kempinski Hotel Atlantic on the banks of the Alster lake.
Trade Visitors from all over Europe
At EPE, participants will be discussing current strategic challenges for Supply Management and Best Practice solutions. Attending the exclusive one-day event is open to guests when invited in person. Thus, the event is an insiders platform, allowing to network and exchange information not intended for third parties. Last year, participants came from ten European countries.
Hamburg – City of Commerce
Since Hanseatic times, Hamburg’s history has been dominated by trade. Today, Hamburg is Northern Europe#s hub of international foreign trade. 32,000 trade companies and more than 125,000 employees illustrate the relevance of commerce in the city state. The EPE emphasises Hamburg’s importance as gateway to the world in trade.
HCB: Perfect Location for the Congress
EPE was brought to Hamburg by the Hamburg Convention Bureau GmbH (HCB). As municipal expert for business events, HCB supported the organisers of the event in all relevant issues. “We are delighted that the Hamburg Convention Bureau was able to win this high-profile event for Hamburg.
