The catering company Marché International has been celebrating its tenth anniversary at the Hamburg airport. This makes Marché Internationalone of the longtime tenants of the airport company. To celebrate the event, Wolfgang Pollety, Managing Director at Hamburg Airport, handed a richly decorated birthday cake to Hermann Ircher, Chief Commercial Officer and Manfred Schmid, Manager at Marché International.
Hamburg office leader among German airports
Each day, 8,500 guests per day frequent Marché International at Hamburg Airport, with figures almost tripled in the past five years. “With almost 14 million passengers per year, Hamburg Airport provides us with an ideal platform to showcase our holistic dining concepts holistically to a large audience,” said Ircher. Marché International is present at eight German airports, including, next to Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin Tegel, Berlin Schönefeld, Nuremberg, Hannover, Leipzig, and Frankfurt. In terms of turnover and numbers of employees, Hamburg Airport is the number one site in Germany. Marché International comprises five brand names: “Marché® Restaurant”, “Marché® Natural Bakery”, “Marché Mövenpick”, “Cindy’s Diner”, and “Mövenpick Restaurant”.
