Good news for the Hamburg fair grounds. In 2016, both INTERGEO and “Arbeitssicherheit Aktuell”, a specialist fair on occupational safety, will take place in Hamburg as guest events 11-13 October. Hamburg Messe successfully convinced with Hinte Expo & Conference one of the country’s most prominent private exhibition and congress organisers, as well as the trade associations involved, to host both events in Hamburg. “With its unique economic structure and its close ties Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, is an attractive location for INTERGEO in 2016” said Olaf Freier, managing director of Hinte Expo & Conference.
For international visitors and exhibitors alike, the very name 'Hamburg’ speaks for itself in a very special way. “By coming to Hamburg, we expect 2016 to bring new impetus for the successful development of the event”, Freier continued.
Major convention and trade show
With more than 500 exhibitors, 17,000 trade visitors and 1,500 conference participants, INTERGEO claims to be one of the world’s most important congress fair for geodesy, geo information, and land management. With Occupational Safety, another successful trade fair concept comes to Hamburg. The prevention forum is expected to attract some 300 exhibitors, 10,000 trade visitors, and 1,200 conference participants from the fields of occupational health and safety and health management to Hamburg.
Fair location popular for its infrastructure and environment
“After successful show in 2008, Occupational Safety will return to Hamburg in autumn 2016. “From our experience we know that Hamburg Messe is perceived as an attractive location among exhibitors, visitors and conference participants, and boasts an above average acceptance”, states the managing director of Hinte Expo & Conference. “The excellent infrastructure for exhibitions and congresses is embedded in a highly attractive urban environment. This is certainly a unique selling point for trade fairs in Germany.”
