Kuklat opens branch in Hamburg

The medium sized transport and logistics organisation Robert Kukla from Munich opened a branch in Hamburg. The service provider thereby wants to expand its offer of customised multimodal logistics solutions in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The new office will be managed by Dirk Wessels, previously Director Corporate Sales at the Hamburg-based container shipping line OPDR. Wessels boasts more than 18 years of experience in Short Sea Shipping and is well connected within the industry.

Well-prepared for future growth

The new branch perfectly complements the existing network with branches in Berlin, Rotterdam, Genova, and Moscow, and representative offices in Antwerpen, Canary Islands, Pireaus, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, and Tokyo. Via the Port of Hamburg, Kukla Kukla organises cross-trade FCL and LCL shipments, project cargo of any kind, and complex door-to-door deliveries. Last year, Kukla says to have handled 20,000 TEU in Hamburg. In the current year, an increase of 30 percent is anticipated.
