With the start of the summer timetable 2016, Bodrum will return to the network of destinations served by Hamburg airport, with Germania expanding its services, flying to the holiday destination on the Aegean coast once a week. Also added to the route network by next summer will be the Portuguese island of Madeira. In addition, passengers will be able to benefit from increased services from Hamburg to Rhodes and Beirut. Taking off twice a week, Germania will also be flying to Tel Aviv or Paphos in Cyprus from Hamburg. From November to May, also Marrakech will be serviced by Germania.
“We are very pleased that Germania continues to expand their flights from Hamburg. The airline complements our flight schedule with additional attractive destinations that are either unique in the route network or have not been served before”, rejoices Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO Hamburg Airport.
Ryanair Also Increases Services From Hamburg
Next year, the Irish airline will be taking off to seven destinations from Hamburg, thus adding five destinations of today’s service to two cities, i.e. Lisbon and Porto. The expansion of services will be commencing in winter, with the holiday destinations Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, and Malaga then being serviced regularly. In summer 2016, sun-seekers will also be able to take off to Palma de Mallorca with Ryanair five times a week. The new arrivals Madrid and Barcelona will be serviced once a week.
