Germanwings introduces new service from Hamburg to Dresden

Morning and evening flights between the two partner cities on the banks of the Elbe river on weekdays and Sunday evenings.

On 1 September 1, 2014 Germanwings introduced a new service from Hamburg, connecting the Hanseatic city with its sister city Dresden. Germanwings operates the service on weekdays with morning and evening flights and an additional evening flight on Sunday.

Ideal connections

The new service should be attractive for business and leisure travelers alike. From Hamburg, the airline will take off on weekdays at 7 a.m. and reach the Saxon capital at 8.05 a.m. The return flight to the North will commence at 8.40 a.m. and arrive in Hamburg at 9.45 a.m. The evening connection will leave Hamburg at 18.25 p.m. and touch down at Dresden at 19.30 p.m. There, the Germanwings jets will leave the airport at 20.05 p.m. to arrive at the Hanseatic city at 21.10 p.m.
