Hamburg Aviation Conference 2015: Think Future

Closing today, the 18th Hamburg Aviation Conference has brought together the aviation and travel industry together with other industries, universities and science

Held 10-12 Februar 2015 at Mövenpick Hotel Hamburg, the three-day conference is organised by the boutique consultancy XXL Solutions. Main marketing partner is Hamburg Airport, which originally started the conference 18 years ago. Other marketing partners include Airbus, ICLP (global loyalty agency), Lumexis (USA), Guest Logix (Canada).

The Impact Of Technology

The Hamburg Aviation Conference is regarded as a think tank for future oriented businesses. Focal themes in 2015 will be range from the impact of technology on people and business strategy to improving service and customer relations. Delegates include CEOs and representatives from airports around the world, i.e. New York City, Kuwait, Kiew, London, Vienna, and of, course, Hamburg. The airline industry is represented by top leaders from Aegean, British Midland, Brussels Airlines, KLM, Kuwait Airways, Monarch Airlines, Oneworld, Ukraine Int. Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic. Academic insights were give by fellows from universities in Dublin, London, Bologna, Rome, Coburg, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Hamburg and more. Also participating were start ups and other digital ventures for airports, airlines and retail.

42nd Hamburg Aviation Forum

Next week, the 42nd Hamburg Aviation Conference at Hotel Hafen Hamburg will take up the topics of the Hamburg Aviation Conference and discuss latest trends and developements on 19 February 12015 in line with the meeting’s theme “Information and Communication Technology in Aviation” .
